Fire Safety Engineering

Recent large fires in residential and industrial complexes across the UAE and the region have triggered a need for education about fire safety and code compliance in building design, construction and maintenance, especially in high-rise buildings and industrial facilities. In collaboration with Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, the American University of Sharjah (AUS) has developed this certificate program to address these needs. The program is designed to enhance the knowledge and expertise of consultants, contractors, engineers, architects, and regulatory officials in fire safety and hazard assessment.
